Yes, completely. Vividon lives inside Photoshop as a native panel plugin. No exporting, no switching between apps, no separate interface to learn. It works on both Mac and Windows, and installation takes less than a minute through the Creative Cloud desktop app. If you can run Photoshop, you can run Vividon.

The Photoshop plugin returns each relight as its own non-destructive layer you can mask, blend and fine-tune with the tools you already know. The web app gives you the same engine with no install, for quick experiments or use on any device. Either way, you get the same world-class relight quality — no prompts, no friction.

How is Vividon different from Photoshop's built-in lighting tools?

Photoshop's Lighting Effects filter relies on manual adjustments and has no understanding of a scene's depth or geometry. Vividon uses AI to read the actual structure of your image and applies light that responds realistically to its shapes and surfaces. Add to that over 100 curated presets, a reference matching mode, a custom rig builder, and fully non-destructive output, and you have something in a different category entirely. No prompts. No complicated setup. Just great light.

What file formats does Vividon support?

Every format Photoshop supports: JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PSD and more. Results come back as standard Photoshop layers, so you can keep editing exactly as you normally would. Current maximum resolution is 4K, with higher resolutions coming.

Can Vividon relight AI-generated images?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vividon analyses the visual content of the image regardless of how it was made. Whether you are working with outputs from Midjourney, Firefly, Stable Diffusion or any other platform, bring it into Photoshop and relight it exactly as you would any photograph.

How can I generate multiple relights with one run?

Accepted Answer

In the Photoshop plugin, go to settings (click the small menu in the corner). You can then change how many relight variations will be generated each click. We recommend at least 2, because a light will often generate quite different results. The best result is often the third or fourth run, not the first. Note that multiple layers will be generated, and only one will be visible. You need to hide it to show the others. In the web app, just click 1 to 5 variations.

I got visual artifacts that are not in the source image!

AI-generated outputs may occasionally introduce visual artifacts, distortions, or other differences not present in the source image. This isn't you doing something wrong. It's inherent to the current AI image models and will improve over time. Luckily, since light is created in a new layer, it's easy to remove. We're also working actively to improve lights and decrease artifacts, and your feedback helps us prioritize what to fix first.

I need to fix a part of the generated light

This is easy since lights end up in a layer. Adjust opacity, use masks, paint areas in or out, and blend it into your workflow like any other layer.

How do I create a custom light?

You can create your own Lights by typing what you want in the textbox. Only focus on how the light should look, we take care of the rest. Tip: try both being super brief and super detailed, sometimes you'll get unexpected results. If you like the light, click Save and name it for a particular style, project, client, or a recurring use case. Select a folder or create a new one. Your custom Lights will appear together with the others.

How do I match the light from another image?

Click Match Image and select the image with the light you want to match (you may need to change the image type in the dropdown). It works best when your reference image is close to your original subject. The more similar the two images are, the more accurate the lighting result will be. For example, using a portrait as a reference for another portrait typically produces much better results than using a landscape or a still life. That said, using a completely different reference can also lead to unexpected, and sometimes genuinely fantastic, results.

How do I change which layer is used for light generation?

By default, the Background layer is selected as the target of all relights. If you need to change this, use the dropdown in the bottom right corner.

Are there any image restrictions?

Yes. Some images may be blocked or fail to generate, including images with a lot of exposed skin, or recognizable celebrities and public figures. These limits come from the safety rules of the underlying AI models and aren't fully within our control. We're continuously working to expand what's possible while staying within those requirements.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, anytime, in a couple of clicks from your dashboard. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, and purchased credit packs stay yours either way.

Do unused credits roll over?

Yes. Anything you don't use stays available for 5 months, as long as you're subscribed. Credit packs are yours for 2 years from purchase, and they stay with you even if you take a break from your subscription. If you cancel, remaining monthly credits stay usable for 30 days from when they were added. If you ever run out, additional packs are available to purchase anytime.

How does pausing work?

Heading into a slow season? Pause your plan for 1, 2 or 3 months right from your dashboard. Billing stops, your saved credits freeze and unlock the moment you're back, and your plan resumes automatically on the date you pick. You can pause up to 2 times per year.
